Los Blancos

Los Blancos

Los Blancos are the embodiment of the quiet confidence that underpins the Alt/Pop scene growing rapidly in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. There is no compromise to Los Blancos’s sound, they are unashamedly creatively open, with songs bursting with the drunken passion and abandonment of The Replacements and Mac Demaco’s playful joy – the joy of creating within the four walls of the rehearsal space!

Hyll are a Cardiff-based indie rock band that come out of their annual hibernation every summer. They are noted for their playful tunes and honest lyrics. The band’s influences range from energetic artists like Pavement, Soccer Mommy and the Pixies, to more thoughtful musicians like Courtney Barnett and King Krule. Hyll promises to offer a gentle performance, perfect for a Sunday afternoon in the city.

Tiger Bay

Mali Haf

Mali Hâf is a 24 year old singer-songwriter who was born and raised in Cardiff where she currently lives. She infuses her music with modern RnB sound, including catchy pop tunes, which she likes to label as ‘Celtic RnB!’

Her voice is full of soul and passion, yet with a playful performance that reflects her character. She is supported by three talented musicians, Bryn, Tryst and Ioan, who create the perfect sounds for this genre.

Lloyd a Dom James

Music has been a big part of Lloyd and Dom’s lives. The couple met in 2017 when Dom reached out to Lloyd and offered to work together on music. They’ve been great friends since. As well as music, the Welsh language has continued to be a big part of their lives since they attended Ysgol Glantaf and Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw, where they learned the language.

Recently, with the great help of Don (Donald), producer, sound engineer and a great friend of Dom and Lloyd, they have been working to create a variety of Welsh rap songs in an effort to bring an underrepresented genre to life. The first single, ‘Who’s Calling?’ has recently been released.

Stafell Fyw

Inspired by the perfect pop sound of the 60s and indie rock groups of the nineties you can expect subtle sounds, and plenty of attitude.

Formed in the back garages of Victoria Park, Cardiff, the band came to prominence as the runner-up in the Battle of the Bands of Maes B and Radio Cymru following an honorary line of bands who came second in the same competition.
