We asked some of our lovely street food traders which top dishes you should try at this year’s festival…here are their top tips!
Brother Thai: Hands down it has to be our Sticky Spicy Beef Roti. It’s our signature dish and we can’t get it out fast enough!
Ffwrnes: Jiawl Bach is defiantly out favourite pizza! San Marzano Tomatoes, Spicy Salami from Monmouthshire and fiery chillies.
Tukka Tuk: Kerala Fried Chicken & Chips – Chicken thigh spiced with ginger, green chili, curry leaves, crushed coriander seeds, fennel seeds and fried, served with Bombay fries, salad leaves, pickled cucumber, red onion and apple chutney and home-made thousand island sauce. Yum!
Welsh Creperie Co: One of our specialities…Goats’ Cheese, Caramelised Onions, Walnut and Spinach Crepe.
Bodlon: Our low and slow spiced Welsh Beef brisket, brioche bun, super slaw, horseradish mayo, crispy onions.
Science Cream: It’s between our Strawberry Fluff Cone- Welsh strawberry ice cream with a cone filled with flamed torched marshmallow fluff and our Chocolate Cookie Dough – Milk chocolate ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate sauce!
Hard Lines Coffee: Our favourite cakes are our Matcha and Pistachio, Pear and Pecan, Peanut Butter and Choc Flapjack & lots and lots of other vegan treats!
Cavavan: We love our quirky alcoholic cocktail ice pops! The rum, strawberry and mint mojito ice-lolly is delicious!
