Things to remember about Tafwyl…

Cost: Entrance is free to Tafwyl Fair! There’s no need to buy tickets, just turn up at the Castle on the day!

Times and dates: Tafwyl Fair will open at 11.00 and close at 21.00, Saturday 4th July, and Sunday 5th July at Cardiff Castle.

Alcohol: You will not be able to bring your own alcohol onto the site. Tafwyl is a free event and is a charity and we are dependant on the income from the bar. Tafwyl has licensed certain areas of the Castle green, and we have three bars this year with lots of locally-sourced beer, ales, cocktails, ciders, wines and spirits that will leave you spoilt for choice! But please take note –.  We are not licensed for this and anyone trying to sneak their own alcohol past our friendly stewards will be searched and may be asked to leave the site. Customers who are under 18 years old will be asked to leave the festival site if found in possession of alcohol. No glass will be allowed to be taken onto any part of the site either.

Parking: There will not be a special car park for Tafwyl – but there are plenty of car parks around the castle- NCP on Westgate Street, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff Arms Park.

Dogs: Dogs are not permitted on site unfortunately, only guide dogs.

Accessibility: Tafwyl site is completely accessible to wheel chair users and pushchairs. Disabled toilets are located on the ground floor of the cafe. For accessibility details for the rest of the castle please visit www.cardiffcastle.com
