Beth Celyn is a Welsh singer-songwriter and has just released her debut EP ‘Troi’ under the label Sbrigyn Ymborth of which her song, Ti’n Fy Nhroi i Mlaen (You Turn Me On), was track of the week on BBC Radio Cymru. Her music is a fusion of indie and folk influences and has garnered much praise from radio and reviewers. She has played at numerous festivals such as FOCUS Wales, Gŵyl Tafwyl and Gŵyl Arall, among others, and has represented Wales at The International Pan Celtic Festival. She was recently chosen as one of 34 artists to receive a launchpad fund from the BBC Horizons scheme to invest in a new stage piano. When Beth isn’t gigging she’s travelling across Wales performing with Cywion Cranogwen, a female collective of poets, artists and musicians putting their stamp on Welsh poetry.
